M1 Roofing Group is a locally owned and operated roofing contractor offering high quality residential and commercial roofing services. Dale and Matt are a father/son duo originally from the Monroe/Indian Trail area. As an organization, we take pride in applying our vast construction experience (+35 years combined building and engineering) to each and every project. Our focus is two-fold…we aim to provide an excellent construction product and also run our business in a professional manner to make the experience a great one for our each of our clients.

Dale has worked in the construction industry for over 25 years, managing projects across a number of varying degrees. He is a North Carolina Licensed General Contractor and a former North Carolina Building Code Official. His vast experience includes oversight of all phases of new residential building projects from the ground up, in addition to extensive retrofits and remodels. Dale’s depth of knowledge is derived from hands on experience early in his career, a wide range of projects, and project management experience on a large scale projects over the years. Dale is originally from Indian Trail, NC and enjoys fishing and playing the banjo.
Matthew Manus, PE

Matthew has a diverse background in the construction industry. He obtained his NC Building License while studying Civil Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). He went on to obtain his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from UNCC. Upon graduation, he spent 5 years in the nuclear industry as a structural design engineer performing modification designs for existing plants (Duke Energy / Excelon / TVA) and design/rigging/site work for new plants, including the VC Summer project in Jenkinsville, SC. Matt also picked up international building experience in project management in a contract role with a high-end builder in Melbourne, Australia. Matt is originally from Monroe, NC and enjoys traveling, playing guitar, and rooting for the hometown Charlotte Hornets and Carolina Panthers.
